Well, it's Wednesday. Which means I'm already worn out and ready for Friday. This past weekend was so stressful, hectic, ridiculous, etc. Moving has got to be the worst thing to go through. Nothing can ever go smoothly. We were scheduled to move on Saturday. Tim had scheduled to have our power turned on on Friday so that it would all be ready and cool for us on Saturday.
So we get up at 8 on Saturday, load up everything at my house in Colleyville, go to storage, go to my mom's house and get the couch, THEN finally make it to Plano after all this hassle only to find that BAM! we have no power. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I was so pissed. It was hot, humid, dark, and annoying. Tim called the electric company and turns out when we made our appointment for Friday nobody seemed to realize it was Good Friday and no one would be working that day to come out and turn on our power. Awesome Ambit. Thanks. Thanks a lot.So once we accepted the fact that we would not have power until Monday we did the best we could with moving everything in during the daylight.
Sunday was nuts too. I woke up late for church cuz the power at the old apartment was knocked out from the storms so I missed breakfast with my dad. Tim had already left for work but I had Grady's truck and not my keys so I had no way to lock the apartment but I had to leave and go to church so I risked it and left the door unlocked while I went to church. So i get to church: the power at church was out so we had the service outside by the lake which was actually really cool and pretty. THEN, after church Grady and I went home changed, got my key, and hauled ass back to Plano hoping that no one robbed Tim blind. Turns out everything was fine. Grady and I loaded up his truck and made another run to the new apartment. Oh AND we had his new puppy Kannon with us. Moving and puppy don't mix btw. But look how sweet this little boy is... I love him...

So Monday rolls around, I was so excited. I was thinking we were finally gonna get power and be able to sleep in our beautiful new home. OH HELLLLL NO! The stupid thunderstorms over the weekend created a lot of power outages and we were told they didn't know when they would be able to make it out to turn on our power. I was so pissed. But when I got home from work there was power and I gotta tell you it was the greatest feeling. So the past couple of days we've been trying to unpack everything and make it look good. I'll post pictures once it is all finished. My mom is going to come over tonight and help decorate! I am slightly obsessed with the apartment. I love it. Anywho, back to work I go.
:-) Happy Hump Day!
